Today, about 100 vaccines are being developed worldwide. Italy, Great Britain, Germany, the USA and many other countries are talking about the end of the tests by the end of this year.
Clinical trials in humans are already being conducted in the UK and the USA, the first permit has been issued in Germany, and China has already reached the second phase of trials.
However, WHO is cautious about such forecasts. Even with the first successful studies, it will take up to a year and a half before such a vaccine becomes widely used.
Some scientists believe that coronavirus can disappear altogether, like SARS-CoV-1, which in 2002-2003 killed a certain number of people and simply disappeared, and the vaccine was not finished because of the lack of demand for it.
